Terms and Conditions of Hire

The owner is Tony le Fevre trading as Wash n Tumble and will be referenced as Wash n Tumble.

The hirer is the person, company or corporation hiring goods from the owner.

The hirer will be responsible for any damage including accident or theft of the goods after delivery.

The hirer shall:

Use hired items for their intended purpose.

Accept responsibility for any claims relating to personal injury or damage to the property during the period of hire for any item from Wash n Tumble.

The hirer must not sub lease or hire any items without the approval from Wash n Tumble.

Compensate Wash n Tumble for any loss or damage to hired goods.

Without prejudice Wash n Tumble reserves the right to terminate any contract at any time.

Deposits are refunded after return of goods and check off is completed.

Wash n Tumble reserves the right to amend hire rates at any time.

If courier services are required for delivery, they are at the hirer's cost. Please make sure someone is home to sign for parcels on the expected dates.

The hirer will need provide a copy of a drivers licence or a suitable form of identification that is acceptable to Wash n Tumble. Under no circumstance will any information be released to a third party.

To secure a booking a deposit of 50% is required.

Full payment including bond together with the final numbers are required two weeks prior to delivery.

All orders are carefully checked when packed. It is the Hirer's responsibility to check the goods upon delivery and immediately notify Wash n Tumble of any discrepancies or defects. Complaints made after use and return of the goods will not be considered.

The Hirer accepts full responsibility for the correct use and care of Wash n Tumble goods. Once goods are despatched from Wash n Tumble, they are no longer covered by Wash n Tumbles Insurance and therefore any loss or damage is to be paid for by the Hirer at full replacement cost. A schedule of these costs is listed below.

We require a security bond of $200 to cover loss/damage which will be returned if all goods hired are returned undamaged.

If the total cost of loss or damage exceeds the security bond of $200, the hirer will be liable for the total amount of the loss.

Damage charges are below:

Lycra Chair cover -$20 per item

Sashes and Bands - $8 per item

Serviettes - $2 per item

Table Skirts - $100 per item

Table Cloths (Round) - $40 per item

Table Cloths (Rectangular) - $30 per item

Any permanent stains or damages to our linen such as mildew damage, food, ink, mud, candle wax, pulls in the fabric and burns etc will attract a replacement charge for each damaged item.

Shortages and damages to hired goods will be charged at their full replacement value, and no substitute item will be accepted by Wash n Tumble. The Owner reserves the right to also charge the Hirer loss of profit on the lost future hire of the goods. The Hirer may request in writing the return (and bear the cost thereof) of any damaged goods within 7 days of the Hirer being informed by phone, email or writing of any such damage.

Any specialty goods, notably organza/satin products may not have open candles used with them.

All goods for hire/rental remain the property of Wash n Tumble. Payment of your deposit is deemed as you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of hire.
